WIDOW REMARRIAGE

After marriage in a small age, the girls face great difficulty. And after becoming Widows in early age she is badly treated. People say that “she ate her husband, she is a witch”.and sometimes she is not allowed to live in her husbands home. In olden times widow’s head was shaved so that no man get’s attracted towards her and widows were also not allowed to remarry. They were treated like prisoners in the prison.This malpractice spoiled their whole life. They were not given proper food and nourishment. And if they were remarried they were not easily accepted by the society. All these difficulties are embedded in a girl’s life only due to child marriage.SO STOP CHILD MARRIAGE AND LET EACH CHILD BLOSSOM.

After being married in early age a boy gets the responsibility to earn money and with that money he has to feed his family. He (the boy) starts working in child age. After growing up if he likes someone he cannot marry her because he is married in his child age. And sometimes if his wife's personality is different from his , their lives are spoilt. Many times this creates domestic violence. After marriage he is not allowed to get education, his family forces him to do a job. If he is below 14 years the boy does child labour and if he is 21 years old he doesn’t have a proper job and he has to be satisfied with a temporary job with low salary. Because the boy didn’t get proper education his future is not secured and his next generation also has to do the same. SO, STOP CHILD MARRIAGE AND LET EACH CHILD BLOSSOM.

A girl is deeply influenced by her marriage in child marriage. The time when she has to be educated, learn moral values, enjoy her life. She is also not allowed to go to school. Still in many countries child marriages are performed. A girl doesn’t know her fundamental rights. She is not able to take decisions what is good and what is bad for her. Because of early marriage she has a lack of awareness about sexually transmitted diseases. She is scolded in her husband’s home because she doesn’t know to do any work like weeding in farms etc. She is badly treated. For all these things the girl’s parents are blamed. The girl is engaged in household and kitchen work. She is also not allowed to go out of the home and talk to anyone. Child marriage means to kill the childhood of a child. Child marriage is a blind faith which is mainly followed by rural people. They think that if their daughter’s get married their responsibility is over. But they don’t know its effects. People in India believe that if girls are educated then, after her marriage she will become a widow. Girls are forced to bear the domestic burden related to kitchen and are not allowed to choose their husband and are forcefully married. If girls are married in their child age, they face great difficulties, they are badly treated as they don’t know how to do work. They become mothers at their early child age. They become the victims of sexually transmitted diseases. And if they become widow in early age they had to get burned in their husband’s pyre, which is called “SATI PRATHA”. Widows were also not allowed to remarry. And if someone was remarried they were not easily accepted in society and were opposed by people. It not only affects the girl’s life but also the boy’s life. The boy get’s the responsibility of his family. He has to get a job and earn money. But today the time has changed. Today the girl’s should have the freedom to go to schools and get educated. They should be adults before they are legally married. They should be given the freedom to marry they like of any caste or any community. And widows should be given the right from the society to remarry. Awareness should also be spread among people. A girl should get married when she is 18 years old and a boy when he is 21years old. Otherwise strict action would be taken by government and parents can be put in the prison for making others do child marriage.
